Ways to Detect Childhood Trauma and Abuse: types of trauma and look out for First (part1)

Childhood traumatic experiences are prevalent across the board in america over 70% of children experience at least 2-3 types of trauma during their childhood and teen years. There’s also vicarious trauma, secondary trauma, group trauma, community trauma, society trauma, media trauma, religious and/or faith or spirituality (or lack thereof) trauma, medical or dental trauma, vehicular trauma, illness or malady trauma, school trauma, world or global trauma, national trauma, cultural trauma, sexual trauma, emotional trauma, psychological trauma, food trauma (a common method of punishment, restriction, and control), familial trauma, holiday trauma, sexual abuse and molestation (including rape, forced orgasm pedophilia, child pornography, kidnapping, forced imprisonment, child trafficking sexual or otherwise, using a child who has been sexually abused and worse to entrap others, nanotechnology training (including beastiality methodology like “not house trained”), tattletale trauma and/or training, ONE training and trauma, abandonment trauma, invalidation trauma, abuse and punishment trauma (thin line, you mostly know when you cross it), deprivation trauma, sensory deprivation trauma, technology trauma (subliminal conditioning can be included, as well as tracking and force pornography or porn plus more like lies or rewriting history, websites etc) Trauma that causes unhealthy behavior or addiction issues, recovery trauma, disability or differently able trauma, Angel trauma, Developmentally Differently ambled trauma also called Specially Lifted and Gifted, Spectrums trauma, spacial(s) trauma, label trauma, criminalization trauma, department of corrections trauma including Juvenile Detention, Institutional and or Facilitated Trauma, ethnic trauma, racial trauma, prejudicial trauma, sponge trauma, physical abuse/trauma either primary/secondary/vicarious/neighborhood or community etc., there are so many types of trauma that it can be a maze to figure out where to start ,or if any have healed over time (try to make sure it is not like an abscess type wound where the skin is healed but there is poison inside, can be triggered or ripped open by perpetrators, abusers new/old, those who figure or know someone’s past who are manipulative at best and sometimes sellers of information etc.), or if you can be the one to handle dealing directly with the child, youth, or adult who survived or is still suffering either in it or the long lasting effects of it.

Detecting trauma in adults and children is easy, difficult, complicated, complex, dangerous, a mine field, rewarding, fulfilling, plus can have the capacity for great healing and wholeness in all parties including potentially the perpetrator. I try to be inclusive plus equal when dealing with anybody and any potential or given situation. This means that I try to see all sides of the picture to get to the roots of not only those who have been victimized (not perpetrated themselves upon others) but those who do the victimizing of people because they have a story too. I have a long survivor history and being able to look at a situation objectively has taken some pretty harsh experiences, learning, and growth to get to a point where even if I am not in a position of any actualized authority, like being a cop, and if I am not under threat I can often come to a resolution that actually suits most involved. This approach can get abusers/perpetrators not only off the streets, but get them help, and help out others as well so that there’s validation, healing, and resolution overall.

Though you can’t suit everyone and people value their freedom often over the rights or saving of others there’s often a way to get to a place where at least acknowledgement if not jousting(fighting back vigilante style against those who are still out there committing crimes against children or others).

Sometimes adults can be big kids right? I used to be even after a lot of stuff happened to me. They may believe like I naively did that,“All people are intrinsically good”,what a delusional concept and yet I believe there’s a need to have what I call Good Goods remain in this headspace while others shield them from disappointment, disillusionment, incapacitation, disbelief, deprivation, depression, and Even death. They and children or youth are the Lights of the world: who no matter what seem to have a smile in there somewhere, a joke, they are often natural helpers or resolutionists or resolve setters. They know the neighborhood or local area usually, get involved, sometimes stick their necks out without even meaning to just because they make an honest and/or protective statement or declaration (and may have no idea who is in their midst). They believe they can talk to people about things without DANGER to themselves or others and may witness things their mind doesn’t process necessarily at the time because of that core belief of people would not do that to others or the environment on purpose. They can turn into Nancy Drew or A Hardy Boy if there’s something amiss they believe that they can help or figure out ( save them from themselves if you think this is too dangerous or fraught with pitfalls or twisty plot turns that they would not be able to navigate unscathed).

Their worth and value cannot be measured due to the potential of who they affect or effect on a daily basis if they are themselves. This includes (and is not limited to)the possible people labeled Evils in your environment who can’t seem to help but either like or find amusing or just someone not worth doing wrong etc... These Good Goods, Trust me when I say that a lot of them unless over 37-40 don’t school their faces all that much and you can tell when something is wrong or bothering them. Like a weather person they can have a predictive ability since 70% or more are usually familiar with a town, city, or community plus being mostly very visible when out. If something, someone, or _____________ is troubling them then there’s a disturbance in the force that needs to be seen to as soon as possible.

Maybe get together with a few others and strategize to redress the balance of the foundation that their world is built upon including doing check ins and pick me ups to keep someone who keeps others going steady. We may not realize until it is too late how much we value someone even on the periphery of our lives until they are damaged, changed, lost, or gone. An animal is a great way to provide this person a buffer from the world and a sounding board that is their companion, plus pick me up, plus possible safety as people generally leave those with animals a little more alone or it makes it more complicated( please don’t think if you or someone has an animal that you are immune from dangerous situations that would be an incorrect and unsafe assumption not based in facts).

This concludes Part 1, Part 2 will be more the ways to detect abuse and trauma in a non threatening, retraumatizing, or new trauma causing or inducing way that can lead to Hope, Healing, Validation, Recognition, the Roots, Awareness, prevention, bringing about positive or healthy changes in your or their lives, your community even the world etc., turning someone or something in the reverse direction, new or better boundaries, finding a new way to live, recovery of all types of trauma and the consequences of your actions or behavior that may have been decisions based in trauma, new goals or dreams, resolutions, build resilience, get your self, your community, your identity, your life back or renewed or a New Start to a healthier you and or the person or being that you are trying to help.
